Plantimals is a collaboration with artist and poet, Bianca Spriggs, for the Lexington Art League's Community Sponsored Art project, or CSA(rt), in October of 2013. Only 50 of these books were made for the "art harvest."

The book itself, made with faux fur and alligator skin, is actually a hardcover box that houses 10 of Sprigg's original ink drawings.  Accompanying each drawing are multiple layers of patterns and poetry printed on vellum.  The reader is meant to rearrange these layers of words and art to create his or her own story.  Spriggs call this a "deconstructed book."  The book mirrors the images within, which depict animals and plants morphing into strange new creatures.
